Every action is taken by an individual. Whatever the government says you must or mustn't something, it's still up to you to determine the right and wrong action. That goes for police enforcing immoral laws too. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Ballot access laws are too restrictive and are not applied equally. That would be a good place to start. Half the country claims to be independent instead of a member of the two main political cults but the bar for entry is different for an independent candidate.

Absolutely. This 2 party system of bad choice or worse choice is terrible. But every time a strong independent run begins both parties spend millions to destroy them immediately. It’s just about money and power not what is best for the people.
