Think how different the world would be if for just one day we would assume the best about each other.

I do that automatically, but then people prove me wrong: new land lord nearly doubled rent—$850 to $1350. My monthly SS is only $1150. No law in my state (CO) to prevent this. Now must get a job at age 70.

The more influence and/or power that person has... The more critical of, the more evolution needed over the longer period of time...to *earn* that benefit of the doubt An individual who doesn't have influence/power? For sure - try to rehabilitate & give the benefit of the doubt

I just spent 1 day doing that this week when running errands. Miracles appeared. A woman offered to return my shopping cart...a man moved an item in my cart to make room for a heavy item I was holding & more. Out of nowhere they appeared. ✨✨✨✨

@StrangelEdweird has a lovely article about this, particularly in the context of speaking with people who have different sociopolitical views than you: centerforinquiry.org/blog/ho…

Please, face reality. Psychopaths are destroying our earth and you’re asking me to vote for them.

Nice concept. Have you even tried that re: Julian Assange yet? Or are you still so pissed about the inconvenient truths he revealed in 2016 that you're fine with him rotting in prison forever for a totally different inconvenient truth he revealed in 2010?

There are plenty of evil people in this world. To deny that is to maintain a sadly naïve perspective, and to start a journey of profound disappointment. Better to be the best that we can be, accept others pretty much as they are, and change what we can for the better.

I mean sure, but this is not how power dynamics work, unfortunately.
