1/ The contest between authoritarianism & democracy is not merely political; it’s a contest between 2 dimensions of human consciousness. As such, it will take a more expanded set of powers than mere traditional political activism in order to defeat the forces that would limit us.

2/ Nonviolent political activism is a more sophisticated, not a naïve political theory. “Our goal is to create a beloved community and this will require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a quantitative change in our lives.” - Martin Luther King Jr.

Internal and external solutions are necessary to challenge the seriousness of the present moment. One is not sufficient minus the other.

Democratic authoritarianism is no better than any other authoritarianism. Popularity does not determine morality. And without a perfect, sole source of truth, morality is just a personal opinion. We need Jesus.

Democrats are a total crap party of liars and decievers. Young people are smart enough to stay away from both imperialist parties.

I think you're right. There is a need for this. The US is a repressive, authoritarian regime and it does wage a war of attrition on the human spirit. Peoples hearts need to be filled with hope and vision to be effective in activism.

Agree, authoritarianism stems from fear (lack of self-awareness). Good intentions alone won't cut it. Just perpetuates the back&forth between two ideological extremes/polarities. Fighting hate w/ hate, and violence w/ violence. Love/democracy comes from self-awareness/acceptance.
