Bobby Kennedy was killed on this day in 1968. It’s impossible to describe the collective agony and grief people felt. First JFK in ‘63, then Martin in April ‘68, then Bobby in June. There wasn’t the expression PTSD yet but the country has been in it ever since. Only now emerging.

I don’t know who it was, but in none of those three cases was there ever the sense that we found out definitively who was behind their murders. The sense that justice was never truly done has left a gaping hole in the psyche of this nation.

The old White guys in our Federal government are never prosecuted! *Coverup committees *Evidence destroyed *Information Classified so no one can speak of it. Just as no old white guys who incited violent attack on our Capitol are being prosecuted
I read that Bobby believed the CIA killed his brother and was trying to prove it. We all know that they are certainly capable of both crimes and MLK’s murder.
It’s a hole we have power to fill if we are brave enough, willing enough, and committed to the lives that shall follow after our own. We would therefore have to love others more than ourselves. No gift given for the sake of God is unrewarded. Shouldn’t that be enough?
Please listen to the recent Trueanon series about the assassination of JFK- very enlightening.
The powers that be, aka Israel
Absolutely. And we shouldn't look at these as isolated events, because in no other parallel universe would three crimes with similar outcomes be looked at individually. Along with Malcolm X, these assassinations intentionally dampened radical spirit.

Marianne you might enjoy this lecture by the magnificent Michael Parenti--where he analyses the role of conspiracy in the class struggle. Forgive the silly image attached to the video. youtube.com/watch?v=Pg9xgJc2…
