Bobby Kennedy was killed on this day in 1968. It’s impossible to describe the collective agony and grief people felt. First JFK in ‘63, then Martin in April ‘68, then Bobby in June. There wasn’t the expression PTSD yet but the country has been in it ever since. Only now emerging.

The world has never been as peaceful as it is right now. The MSM is giving people PTSD. Bad things have ALWAYS happened.

Bobby Kennedy and Ceaser Chavez were true leaders, and the Democratic party that I remember.

America has never recovered from Nov 22, 1963 ... it was the Beginning of the End for the American Dream, and has been a Nightmare ever since ...

I remember my mom crying as I was 6 years old and her mentioning another Kennedy had been murdered. Still, with those 3 tragedies, Americans seemed to be more united then. Having only 3 major television channels definatey played a part since everyone was watching the same things.

I was a miner in Zambia when I heard from my no-nonsense copper boss. He could hardly get the words out through his tears: "Its the end", he said "The dream has died". The shock reverberated esp in South Africa where he had publicly denounced apartheid, enraging Pres Botha's govt
