There are 2 things that will have the USA destroy a country: 1) Start a resource (non-fiat) based currency. 2) nationalize a major resource. Do them both and that leader will be assassinated. Note: Gaddafi and Hussein.
I agree but we'd have to go back and argue with 1979 Jimmy Carter who, in the Carter Doctrine, said the USA has a right to defend its interests around the world. Carter's my favorite of our recent Presidents but I didn't care for the Carter Doctrine.
