Great news folks: we hit record-high health care enrollment. 31 million people now have coverage through the Affordable Care Act. Couldn’t think of a better person to celebrate this milestone with than President Obama, so I gave him a call.

For the life of me I don’t know what they’re so proud of. #MedicareForAll would cover everyone.

Every other advanced industrialized nation has universal healthcare and so could we. Obama went as far as the health insurance companies would allow him to go - and you’re saying we should applaud? I don’t think health insurance companies should determine our healthcare policies.

Health care in the US is awful. Why would we want it for everyone?
Every other advanced industrialized nation also has health insurance companies.

They certainly shouldn't, but I'm surprised that you react that way. You can appreciate the positive steps while still fighting for more. There's nothing wrong in celebrating a success, as long as you don't stop there...

How much does the Affordable Healthcare cost? Is there a deductible ?...exactly
You mean it let went as far as the Senate would let him go? Joe Lieberman killed the public option along with every single Republican.
I applaud you, Marianne ❤

Since most companies don’t pay your premium at all and wages are so low, maybe he should tell The companies to pay the full premium and see how that goes. I could use the 200 a week, I feel like I work to have heath are insurance. at 62, worst I have seen.

Can we be aware of the fact that Capitalism itself is the root, source and gate keeper of all of social injustice the whole planet has to put up with?

Medicare for all is not the only way to get there. In fact it doesnt work that way anywhere else.
