We have normalized massive amounts of unnecessary suffering.
In the richest country on earth, people are: -rationing lifesaving medication -debating between food or rent -drowning in debt for the crime of seeking an education We fight to #RaiseTheWage, #CancelStudentDebt, & pass #Medicare4All because millions can't afford for us not to.

Neither democrats or republicans will fix this. We all know what is necessary to end this, but we're re not brave enough to bring it about.

A small group of completely corrupt elected individuals in Congress are making most of the country unnecessarily suffer so they themselves can prosper.

For instance ... if 40 billion dollars will eliminate homelessness ... Then let's take it out of the defense budget ... or increase taxes on the super rich by a percent ... and ELIMINATE HOMELESSNESS!

Speaking in lofty cliches is unhelpful. We don't live in a world of infinite resources. People expect everything for free. College, healthcare, housing etc. America is broke. The idea that we can just turn on the money printers and print our way to prosperity is a dangerous myth.
