I don’t grasp how it is easy to make it harder to vote. 14th Amendment: “No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States...nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

If we didn’t have such a right wing SCOTUS this would be a joke; Texas wouldn’t dare to do it and no one would worry even if they did. The problem is that with the current SCOTUS there’s a chance they can get away with it.
