A lot of Americans are resorting to alcohol and cheap comfort foods in order to cope When the Elites neglect the wellbeing of the poor, the poor resort to unhealthy coping mechanisms and society collapses The American Social contract has been nullified

I’ve been meditating for over 35 years. Very thankful. It gave me inner strength & calm to get through many things. Challenges, struggles whatever word you want to put to it. From deaths of 2 children to death of a husband. A serious car crash & a spinal cord injury. And more.

People really hating on meditation here 🥴 duh- it’s not a panacea to the material inequalities of poverty, but it bares no gates to anyone who wishes to try it out. Chill

I will use this as my motivation to do another day of mindfulness meditation since I suck so much at consistency

You need time, space, peace and money to meditate, Marianne. You are lecturing the wrong class of people about this. We've none of the requirements to do what you're suggesting. We need adequate income, healthcare, safe homes and state violence kept away from us to do this.
