Looking at the comments here hurts my heart. Meditate, already. It’s not hard. Get a book. Google it. Do it. You can breathe, can’t you? Then you can meditate. Practicing will take you from being naysayer have-nots to more happy beings. It’s an ANCIENT practice all people use.

Detachment. I have accepted that humanbeings are mostly dumb, selfish and small minded. I have stopped expecting better from 99.5% of humanity so all the crap that goes on no longer shocks me 🤷🏾‍♀️. I mostly focus my energy on the bit I can do.

Ironically enough, I’ve been drinking tea while reading some of my favorite parts from your book, A Politics of Love.

Spent all day on mountains trails in a Jeep with the top off, the occasional short hike thrown in.

I don't meditate, and I endure it by not enduring it and just wanting to die like 70% of the time.

Workers have no leisure to meditate; and they are not enduring. I think you accidentally made a great point.
