Thank you for doing the right thing. Many of us would hope to see the word “permanently” at the end of the sentence as well, of course, just to know it’s not temporary damage control.

The woman's statement may have been thoughtless or thoughtful. People will come to different conclusions about it. But the destroying her livelihood over a statement is cruel.
