Looking thru Twitter you see people saying democracy is dead, democracy is dying, democracy might die, some even questioning whether we ever were a democracy. I see a democracy under attack and a generation rising up to say “HELL NO. It will not die on our watch.”

There are socialist democracies in the world. Most European countries are democracies with elements of socialism as well as capitalism.

European Social Democracies are still capitalist at their core. How do you imagine they fund their welfare states? By exploiting poor countries in the Global South. You should also know this. Capitalism is a scourge, in any form.
