Looking thru Twitter you see people saying democracy is dead, democracy is dying, democracy might die, some even questioning whether we ever were a democracy. I see a democracy under attack and a generation rising up to say “HELL NO. It will not die on our watch.”

Come on Marianne; A former sub commander, Governor, POTUS, global election watcher, declares otherwise. Can’t fix it if we don’t acknowledge the situation as it is... not what we want it to be. theintercept.com/2015/07/30/…

I've watched the slide since '68 but having no improvement or even a break in descent I need to say it's plural-generations rising up. This Boomer says "Hell No" too.

Thank you. Some states are also passing laws for voter expansion. WHY do all media outlets only report right wing news?

My twitter feed is just reply chains where one of the people in it has tweets private so the chain makes no sense.

You mis-diagnose the problem. Both sides see themselves as the defenders of democracy against the other, who they think is trying to tear it down. The inability of both sides to agree on what that democracy should look like is what is at issue-entirely impeded by corporate media
Well said. The squad and Bernie basically rolling over for the establishment was the last straw for me. The system is set up exactly for the environment you describe.🎯

Democracy meaning we get to choose 2 pre-selected, sponsored by billionaire, candidates? That's what you are fighting so hard for?

The Democrat Party must come to terms with the last two Presidential Primaries; otherwise, democracy is dead-for me-at the hands of the Democrat Party. I feel that I have little to no representation in Congress. I've voted since 1980-until 2020. I had nobody to vote for in 2020
