If the Democrats don’t get rid of the filibuster then how can they accomplish the things that need get accomplished in order for them to win in 2022?

Getting rid of it is implausible especially before 2022, we should all rally 100% the talking filibuster so the gop has to ramble on in shame as they bring our government to a standstill, guarantee that use of the process will go down quite a bit.

They don't want to get anything done. The whole game is not do anything so they can have something to run on & more fear to tell voters "hey! vote for us and then THIS TIME we'll do something & protect you from the GOP!"

They could pass #hr996, which should appeal equally to republicans, democrats, and independents, avoiding filibuster. 435 representatives aren’t enough to protect 331 million Americans from regulatory capture. Add more elected voice to Congress; Pass #hr996 and #uncapthehouse! 😎

Yes!!!! ... but from what I understand ... Joe Manchin doesn't want to get rid of the Filibuster ... Someone needs to give him a history lesson ... The founding fathers would be horrified at the Filibuster ... The majority (who ever that is) needs to be able to govern!

It’s not Democrats. Be clear. It’s Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. That’s it. Those 2. So don’t say “Democrats” because that is wrong.

But then what would they use as their excuse for never getting anything done?

Unfortunately, seems to me like that's part of the plan, because donors didn't pay them to win and actually make them less comfortable. 😤

They can't and don't want to

They don't want to win. Hey, I know it's not helpful, but truth has to be the start.
