Since Biden is president, why can’t he just appoint a commission to investigate Jan. 6?

He can...and that may very well be what happens...through Pelosi. However a bipartisan commission (and anything bipartisan) carries more holistic weight across party lines (for those influenced by party lines).

Same reason why Trump couldn't appoint a commission to investigate Hillary & Obama!

Good question It's almost like his goal is to find excuses and scapegoats to blame for not trying to be a good POTUS

And investigate this ghosting as two or more elected officials are involved in this sick, mental cruelty game to torture those who are advocating for themselves. Oprah Winfrey out out this concept in Feb 2015. She made it happen a Felix Marquez. Intruding in our personal lives.

I'm genuinely surprised he hasn't. He's typically one of the best at wasting tax dollars on ridiculous and worthless endeavors while the workingclass starves. Maybe he's too busy backing out of campaign promises like student debt forgiveness and a public option.

Hopefully that’ll happen. And it’ll be more effective bc Ds won’t be hamstrung by Rs when it comes to subpoenas (bipartisan deal required agreement). So I think the first subpoenas should be issued to McCarthy, McConnell, MTG, Boebert, Brooks, Gosar, Johnson, Clyde, Hawley & Cruz

I think he can...
