1/ Biden’s pick for Amb to Israel is Tom Nides, “currently managing director & vice chairman of Morgan Stanley. He previously served as deputy secretary of state for management & resources under Hillary Clinton from 2011 to 2013.” I can’t imagine worse qualifications for the job.

2/ What our political establishment calls “qualified” is increasingly ridiculous for the 21st-C. The Amb. to Israel should be someone with years of experience in human rights issues and peace building, not financial management. Give me a break. This says everything. #NoOnNides

I ran as an Independent when I ran for Congress. I agree with George Washington, who warned us about political parties. He said they would create “factions of men who care more about their party than about their country.”

Biden should appointee someone Jewish from the media area like Trump did with Shapiro. I doubt any of them would do it & some are the opposite party, but Chris Wallace, Katie Couric, Wolf Blitzer, Jeffrey Goldberg, Mark Levin, David Shuster, & Michael Wolff.
