The majority of people in prison are not there for their first offense. They have be given multiple chances. They have choosen poorly.

Thank you @marwilliamson for visiting the Michigan prisons and bringing your Light in the early 2000's. Glad to have made it to the other side but cannot say our country feels free anymore, liberties being stripped daily

You mean millions, right? If you believe man is fundamentally good and redeemable, then you would be referring to almost everyone in prison, right? After all, we mostly lock people up for crimes of poverty and trauma.
