Now that Covid is waning we can get some perspective on what might’ve been different. So many capitalist chiefs, celebrities, billionaires etc. could have called for a $2k/mo. while it lasted - no skin off their teeth. They could have ameliorated so much suffering & chose not to.

There was no need for the County to shut down. Only elderly, overweight and those with pre existing conditions needed to quarantine. Biggest Public Health mismanagement in history.
