Do you think Texas is the first state to do this? Carrying handguns without a license has been legal in Vermont for decades. Within the last several years it has been passed in other states also. I don't know the whole list, but Kentucky, where I live, is one of them.

Texas needs to pull on its bootstraps & get into this century.

Just stay out of Texas until their leaders join the rest of the world. It makes no sense that normal people have to deal with an insane state. America is too big.

Utah did it too and I've been carrying since. Moms should carry if they care about the safety of their kids and themselves. No one more vulnerable than a mother wrangling 3 young children. It's our right and I'll exercise it. Thanks.
