Democrats need to be careful of becoming the 'I never met a tax I didn't want to raise' party. That's NOT Progressive.

This is wrong-headed. Taxing transactions isn't a tax, it's a fee. A result of more regulation. Too much regulation disincentives new investors. Raise the Capital Gains tax. At least this is consistent with taxing income.

They have trillions in bribe money to throw around, how much do you have?

Their transactions should be taxed ... why not ... our transactions are taxed ... we pay sales taxes ... excise taxes ... property taxes ... income taxes ... etc., etc ... so why not a transactions tax! ... And for that matter ... how about a wealth tax and an inheritance tax!
