Someone who can spend $600 on a pair of shoes yet argues with a straight face that $300 is too much to give someone who cannot afford food, should not be a lawmaker.

It’s a lot cheaper to travel Europe than to be in poverty in the US 😐 For one, healthcare as a foreigner in the EU is WAY cheaper than resident premiums & copays here 😐

The problems in the US are compounded & we can’t get good leadership in place. My future plans don’t rely on the success of this country. I’m planning as if America will get worse & deteriorate as we head into the climate crisis😐 This isn’t what I’m rooting for. Just reading..

The $300 for food should be tied to actual food inflation because it’s now only $195 worth of start of the pandemic prices
