Someone who can spend $600 on a pair of shoes yet argues with a straight face that $300 is too much to give someone who cannot afford food, should not be a lawmaker.

It is the nature of greed. If someone is getting something then they must be taking it away from me. Lawmakers are put in place by $$$ because that is the way that $$$ want lawmakers to think.
