Someone who can spend $600 on a pair of shoes yet argues with a straight face that $300 is too much to give someone who cannot afford food, should not be a lawmaker.

And someone (@RepBrianMast ) who gladly pays a $500 fine when he refuses to wear a mask should also not be in a position to legislate away important benefits.

Gee, it's almost like they want the peasants to get back to work for starvation wages and they delight in having an underclass underneath their polished shoes to look down on, to subjugate, to make themselves feel superior, and so forth.

This is a riot. It just completely avoids addressing the spending of a recipient of said $600... like say 2 pairs of heels instead of 2 weeks of food...

You got that right, Marianne. Out of touch. The straight face part is the alarming part. There鈥檚 a disconnect there that is quite terrible.

Anyone who buys $600 pairs of shoes are out of touch with regular people. The most expensive pairs of shoes I have are my cowboy boots. They are expensive because of all the leather they use for functional purposes boots give. I don't think heels have many functional purposes.

I'm feelin this take. Giving me strong "candidate Obama 2007" vibes. At this rate, but 2060, you'll be onto some "pull yer dang pants up" and "let's help Main St. instead of Wall St" nonsense
