Anyone who doesn't see that the Democratic Party's job is to preserve the status quo (with softer optics) isn't looking closely enough.
Scoop: White House budget will NOT include key Biden campaign pledges -- such as the public option, prescription drugs reform, or student debt relief, per sources WH squarely focused on $4T in jobs/infrastructure + "families" plans W/ @tylerpager washingtonpost.com/us-policy…

I'm going to focus on helping people organizing and doing direct action, as well as independent/third party candidates.

Refuse to support the imperial oligarchs. There are 2 3d parties w/ enough ballot access to win the White House - that's viability. You talk about envisioning a better world in your books. Will you take action to bring that about, or will you line up like they want again?

More unions. Unions can organize people far better than nearly any organization, they increase wages/benefits so that workers have the time to be politically active, they have teams of lawyers, and they unite people across socioeconomic boundaries.

#GeneralStrike now, #EatTheRich, #RevolutionNow ! Corporations & billionaires control all branches of government, media, & infrastructure. No hope trying to work w/in that system. #BurnItAllDown!

Money out of politics, that's the ticket
make sure Nina Turner gets elected and replace all of these dormant democrats with similar reps ... one by one, or in a group, but the purge must continue ...

Vote Peoples Party or Green. I have no confidence that even Progressive candidates like Nina Turner will be able to exert political power in the corp-owned Dem party. The two party system is a failure, and we no longer have time for incremental change.

A REAL opposition, not just the mask on [D] mask off [R] sides of the same imperialism, the same crumbs, the same huge military budgets. The red party leaders were taught fear by their voters, though they want policies of hate. The blue party voters could use organizing too.

We need to educate a critical mass to soundly reject the capitalist system and the US empire. Only then will we have hope of survival in anything other than a nightmarish dystopian future.
