Yeah, she failed to learn from history and was doomed to make mistakes from the past including supporting the 21st Century Adolf Hitler..... Oompa Loompa..... whatever you wish to call the former guy.
This isn't a matter of teaching history to MTG, & others like her. All these people need to sit down with licensed psychiatrists & get a complete psychiatric evaluation!!!
Exactly, that equating things by showing disrespect for People should never happen. Green is not using it as a methaphor, but as words charged with careleness, and disrespect.
This is absolutely outrageous! There is no equivalency here at all; and Rep. Taylor Greene has no ability to reason at all, fitting in with many other amongst her ranks.
The problem is that Republicans only want history from a white man’s perspective, that’s how we got here. This is 2021 and we’re talking about what history should taught.
It’s not ignorance, willful or otherwise. It’s vicious antisemitism. She’s not trying to convince people that being made to wear a mask is as bad as the Holocaust. She wants people to think the Holocaust was no worse than being made to wear masks.
We need to make civics (American government) a mandatory requirement for graduation. Hell, I would support a law that requires passing a citizenship test like immigrants have to pass just to get a drivers license.
