So forgive choices made by individuals who made sober and conscious decisions on acquiring a student loan? My sons worked through college / paid thier loans. Transportation is incredibly important for growth and development of your personal life, why not forgive car loans as well

If only that were true. The government quit doing the will of the majority LONG ago. Now the Oligarchs call all the shots.

They're all things that the US government COULD quite easily do for its citizens but chooses not to, because they would take money it would rather spend on enriching arms manufacturers and Big Pharma. (Despite the fact that the majority of US voters support all of them.)
