If we made it our goal to provide every possible opportunity for a child to receive maximal care, nurturing and education before the age of 10, our society would be radically different within 20 years.

Gotta get rid of those teacher's unions. Nothing can be done with them in charge of our schools.

Yes, but failure to recognize and denounce the psychopathic gangsters who control US public policy at home and abroad allows the dance of death to continue.

Education needs a massive overhaul, starting with class and school sizes. Smaller classes are easier to manage and therefore the teacher has more time to actually teach rather than babysit. I had ~40 kids/class and 35 desks when I was a teacher.

If we had a country whose fondation wasn't built on the complete absence of humanity, this would never be a problem.

The entrance requirements for admission to a College of Ed to be a teacher is too low. These graduates then pass on their fear of math, fear of Science, fear of “hard things” on to their students. Raise the Bar on who becomes a teacher.

The thing that astounds me is that we treat children like they’re second-hand property of their parents. Our children are citizens of the wealthiest country in the world. There shouldn’t ever be a child here without their basic physical needs met.

Honestly, what even is our goal right now? Making rich people richer? And everyone is cool with that?

Dems want to raise standards across the board to make life better for everyone. Rs just want to make sure that everyone else is at least as bitter, hateful and unhappy as they are.
