Desperation breeds hate and hate breeds hate groups. Until we’re willing to assuage the desperation we’ll always be faced with the effects of the hate.

Sure it makes it easier for those ideas to take hold but I think blaming economic angst for a spike in hate groups/hate crimes is a mistake Lots of those people (like the ones that stormed the capital) are wealthy and privileged

It's like Chinese desperation for cover up & Uyghur desperation for survival. Which one breeds hatred? Who have spread hate messages? It all depends on your interpretation.
