A ceasefire is a good thing, but of itself it just treats a symptom. Biden can't truthfully say we stand for "freedom, prosperity & democracy" for Palestinians unless we're willing to condemn the settlements & the occupation & are willing to withhold military support from Israel.

The problem has always been that the Palestinians don't want a two-state solution. Until that is practicably address there will always be flare-ups.

Witholding military support would be catastrophic at this point. We would seriously regret that move shortly thereafter doing it. We need a longer view regarding “settlements.” It is not that simplistic.

1. Democracy for Palestinians already exist for those living in Israel. Hamas rules Gaza and don't seek democracy. It's not up to us to force them. 2. There is no Israeli occupation in Gaza. Israel pulled out in 2014. 3. Withholding military support will allow another holocaust!

5/5 We are talking about the actual existence of the state of Israel as a home forJewish people. Where they can be Jews without being persecuted & killed. Isn't that what Hamas &Jihad's main goal is? Killing every single Jew? They've been saying it since '48 every single day!
