Amazing how many countries - including ours - base their economies on exporting weapons, then once the wars start say “Stop the fighting! Stop the fighting!”

Gaza sent 470 rockets in 24 hours at civilians. If money from the United States facilitated the iron dome, those saving of casualties are worth it.

Sadly, no one seems to care as long as these weapons are killing "Arabs". Palestinians, Syrians, Iraqis, Lebanese, etc.

When has the U.S. EVER said, “Stop the fighting!”? To my knowledge, never once, and they likely never will… unless they find greater benefit from it than they get from selling weapons, such as pillaging resources.

Yes, we have a military-based economy. Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex over 60 years ago.

@POTUS doesn't care about brown and black people. He proved this during the summer Black Lives Matter protest movement, and he's showing this lack of moral clarity AGAIN while sending weapons to Israel and not calling for a ceasefire as innocent Palestinians die by U.S. bombs.

"Even when weapons of war are not actually destroyed, their manufacture is still a convenient way of expending labor power without producing anything that can be consumed." George Orwell, "1984"

I get the sentiment, but ask any downtrodden person. You can't stand up if you're not able to fend off the bullies. Sometimes that means you're going to look like a bully. Sometimes you might even turn out to be wrong. But would you rather be ruled by other wrong people?

Marianne, remember the PRIME DIRECTIVE. Profits Before People. Hypocrisy is therefore allowed and condoned.

If Biden wanted it to stop, he wouldn't have stopped the UN from intervening.
