Big pharmaceutical companies tyrannize this country, providing life-saving drugs on one hand yet destroying lives through obscene profit margins and artificial creation of profit centers (opioids, etc.) on the other.
My last insulin prescription was $2,267.99 for a three month supply in the US.

Capitalism in action; they have a product or service to provide, you have money to exchange, mutually beneficial arrangement. Capitalism 101 If people don't like the price they are paying, perhaps having not-for-profit industry (government) providing it instead is an option?

Don't forget why folks need insulin in the first place.The center isles of every grocery store are filled with processed food known to cause diabetes. Much of it marketed to our children. Make us sick then extort us for lifesaving medication. Capitalism realized.
