The American people are so ahead of you on this. We need you to do more than ask that they “calm tensions.” We need you to insist in no uncertain terms that they make some fundamental changes, without which tension will always permeate the air.
Spoke today with Israeli Foreign Minister @Gabi_Ashkenazi about the need to calm tensions in Israel and the West Bank and Gaza. We must find a way to halt the conflict that has claimed the lives of Israeli and Palestinian civilians.

He's all talk. The Biden administration has no interest in peace. At best the Israel-Palestine situation is hampering their war efforts against Russia and China. Their endgame is turning the planet into the "democracy" of Colombia.
Colombia's ESMAD turned streets of Popoyan into a battlefield today. Totally normal for the "democracies" of the region.

This is interesting. Has something fundamentally changed in the US? Since when did the government there care about what the American people want, outside of an election campaign?

After years of monitoring the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, please excuse me if I am skeptical of the prospects for success of demands for "fundamental changes." What if primary school teachers were entrusted to do the negotiation on behalf of the children of both parties...?

Yes. The U.S. needs to force the end of the settlements and the end of the occupation. The status quo will never change there until America adopts this policy. The American people, especially the left, need to organize and force this change in U.S. policy

You dusted off the old Obama play book ... Open your eyes ... See what's happening in the US and in the World ... TODAY ... not 8 years ago ... write a NEW PLAYBOOK FOR TODAY!

The US needs to stop selling weapons to fascist regimes. Its embarrassing.

It won't happen. Palestine isn’t the only country under Israeli occupation.
Empty platitudes as ever. If they really meant is, if they really wanted peace they wouldn’t be selling arms to Israel to a tune of over $700 million. If they wanted peace, they wouldn’t support Iran that arms Hamas through the back door The USA is funding both sides. As always
