The article does not even talk about "Hamas" at all which are who the Israel's are fighting right now. Israel has a right and an obligation to fight against terrorism.

In the United States if someone built their home to close to the property line ... the local zoning board would ask them to get a variance ... they would NOT tear down their house!

Its fault was being paranoid and not being more inclusive at the infancy of the country's history. If they had been more open to the non-Jews who were living there at their inception, much of its history might look very different.

Breaking up a fight is not like the Hollywood movies. I’ve tried. Learned the hard way... Just cuz you think you’re on the right side, or you just want to be the Good Samaritan and stop the fight, doesn’t mean you’re not going to get punched in the face purposely or incidentally.
