This is so wrong. So terribly, terribly wrong.
Standing behind an elderly woman at @cvspharmacy and she’s buying insulin. $1200. She’s visibly upset, and I’m trying not to cry also. Pharmacist says “well at least your insurance paid for over half bc the cash price is over $3000” HOW HAVE WE LET THEM CONVINCE US THIS IS OKAY?

And Trump had insulin down to $50.

My mom pays $300 just South of the border in Tijuana, Mexico. This is an issue caused by protectionism (an arm of socialism), not capitalism.

I raise these questions and then people say to me- "if you don't like it, you can go back to your country". Not much to discuss after that.

I just had to pay $2000 for my son's insulin. That was half the insurance cost covered... I thought how sad - My 15 year old son's life is dependent on us paying heavy fees for the rest of our life, while the rich get richer... So, so sick.

Outside of the United States, Insulin is at a cash price is about $20 a vial (10mL) but is nonetheless covered by their national insurance so that there is no out of pocket cost. American core value is Profits Before People.

Just a reminder that the UK built the NHS after WW2, our country had been bombed to hell and was bankrupt. We did it anyway. Because after winning the war we had to win the peace. Dont ever let your government tell you they cant afford it.

Disgusting. The US healthcare system isn't broken; it is intentionally designed to rob the working class.
