Addressing the part that you didn’t delete: why do you believe Hamas would be empowered by Palestinians enjoying equal rights, justice, access/mobility, and opportunities in a single secular state shared with Israelis? Hezbollah? Iran? What is the logic behind this assertion? 🤔

A single state where there were equal rights between Jews and Palestinians would be fine with me - their rights should be equal there now! - as long as there was a guarantee that Jews fleeing oppression could find a home there. Palestinians deserve a homeland & so do the Jews.

To put this more diplomatically than @FisherBurton: the objection to your proposal is that Jewish immigrants would enjoy a favored/privileged status in this hypothetical one-state solution — and that would fundamentally negate the declaration of equal rights.
