“Starvation wages” should not be a thing. Many people awakening now to the unfairness of a system which keeps them limited to economic conditions that obstruct rather than promote their advancement in the direction of their dreams. Economic injustice is an invisible set of chains
Let's be clear. The problem in America is not that unemployed workers are receiving an extra $300 a week in emergency benefits during a horrific pandemic. The problem is that too many employers in America are exploiting their workers by paying starvation wages with no benefits.

The fine print matters though. On one hand I support UBI and did so throughout my campaign. But some who support it are suggesting it be INSTEAD of other safety net provisions, leaving many people with actually less than they would have received without it.

I agree. That's why I support a generous UBI that would eradicate poverty.

couldn't a reasonable perspective on that be that the UBI should be raised more to make it so that those people are getting more than they were before? I think we should fund UBI through currency expansion, and stop banks from expanding the currency as they do now.
