We will no longer participate in federal pandemic unemployment programs because Tennesseans have access to more than 250,000 jobs in our state. Families, businesses & our economy thrive when we focus on meaningful employment & move on from short-term, federal fixes.

Are you kidding me? I was in TN in 2017 & 2019 for work & there’s a huge boom there. Housing, car factories, music industry. TN is more than back drop for #HeeHaw travel the country a bit!

Girl. Get over yourself. I live here and in a very small county. Everywhere you turn there are "now hiring" signs.
They don’t care about the entire state. They only care about the “Branson, Disney, Nashville Hybrid” that is down town Nashville. And those of us who live here are being priced out of housing by greedy developers, while the hospitality/service industry there pays poorly.

The thousands of people who just fled from blue states to Tennessee beg to differ.

Every company where I live is hiring and can’t get employees. This state has a balanced budget with no income tax. We provide Medicaid to uninsured citizens and 2 years free technical school and community college. It’s all about people’s choices.

You're missing the point. He's saying the economy will begin to thrive when people get off the government teet and get back to work.

Actually, the 37th in per capita income to include DC (which so happens to have the highest 🤔) yet Tennessee is the sixth most affordable place to live. Perspective sure paints a different picture than your “10th poorest argument”
