Being cruel to animals is putting it lightly. As Mark Hyman said, "Factory farming is an abomination". At a minimum, everyone needs to start eating less meat and dairy.

They should be grazing large scale permaculture ecosystems modeled after native savanna/agro-forest and treated with kindness and humility every day of their lives. We should also eat them, and the products made from them, far less.
