1/ The problem with the American economy is not just that we were hit hard by the pandemic. The problem is that it was rigged even beforehand, turning a situation that was painful for tens of millions of people into something now almost unsurvivable.

2/ It's not enough to bring "relief" or "rescue" to people; unless we create real reform, their economic trauma will soon return. The only way we can really begin to *reform* the system is with #Medicare4All, #CancelStudentDebt, #FreeTuition and #MinimumWage15.

3/ Unless we return tax rates for the wealthy and corporations to fair and equitable rates, end ridiculous corporate subsidies to industries that hurt our health and planet, and are willing to stare down the MIC and cut the defense budget, America will continue to decline.

4/ Small incremental approaches to any of those things will be too little, too slow and too late. Don't take what MLK Jr. called "the tranquilizing drug of gradualism." We need fundamental structural change and we need it now. The only thing we'll lose is the despair of millions.

Do you think the pandemic and these dangerous & unscientific experiments weren’t rigged? Do some real research and try and see the whole of what’s happening. Then you can really be part of the solution. Right now you are talking about changing a a recalcitrant predatory system.

Odd how our gov’t, at the first sign of trouble, immediately make sure the wealthy are taken care of then drag their feet for those truly in need.

Lmao, inflation, gas shortages, fast and loose fiscal policy, government overregulation, yeah the government has fucked us all. Your solution? Give government more power. Gee I bet that will work out beautifully.
