we have all three branches of government for a VERY short time. If we don't abolish the filibuster we will lose the house and senate in 2022 and we will be right back to complete gridlock. It's enraging.

The Filibuster fight is just another strawman that Democrats can posture over while still not effecting any salient issue. If the Democrats were to actually fight earnestly for the Progressive things that the People need, they would never come close to losing anything ever again.

It would NOT be good for Congress to abolish a longstanding process that can be beneficial for both sides which is why it has been kept. Sometimes calmer minds need to be heard.

Democrats won't stay in power forever. And when they aren't, they will be sorry they did it. Short term gains for some Very likely future losses.

Talk to Manchin about that
