Do you believe if they did not hold the majority power in Congress they would even be wanting to do this? Or would they be calling it a subversion of our democracy and destroying treasured norms? If they do it, they will regret it. Congress should be gridlocked most of the time.

LOL the filibuster is fine. The Democrats and Republicans who put Illegal Aliens/Foreign Cheap Labor above American Workers are the REAL problem.

I think after 2022 elections the Democrats will be thankful we still have the filibuster because using the filibuster comes across as politics as usual, but using the Presidential veto repeatedly will come across as being an obstructionists' to the will of the people.

The same filibuster the democrats used repeatedly during the last administration? Hypocrisy or retardation?

@IlhanMN Grow a spine and filibuster until they abolish the filibuster. Vote no to everything.

It should be abolished now. It CAN be brought back, with different caveats if necessary, sometime down the road. But right now, the Republicans really need to be neutered. They are holding onto Donald Trump, doing his bidding, and this is beyond WRONG.

No they won’t. The Democratic Party exists to serve the wealthy, just like the Republicans do, and the filibuster is an important tool in accomplishing that. They will never abolish it. I refuse to believe you’re this naive.
