The "right wing" loves this pioneer mentality that everyone "gets to carry a gun" - Texas has this attitude in spades. The problem is - it is not 1849 anymore - and most, are not willing to break with this mindset - which means- there will be blood.

I'm cool with it...so long as poverty is eradicated and we treat mental illness issues with the seriousness get deserve. That means investing serious money and resources into it
