That means 36 million people not only freed of the shackles of economic insecurity, but also free to participate creatively in the economy in a way that benefits everyone.
36 MILLION people would be completely debt free if we cancel $50,000 of student debt.

This debt is killing us. Meanwhile corporations benefiting from our collective education pay no taxes. Collect corporate taxes; forgive student debt. Free the people.

36 million people would be free of financial anxiety We can't have that! It is federal policy since before Feb 2, 1997 per Alan Greenspan's Congressional testimony

That's sounds amazing. Free money!!! So does the government then pay $50000 towards every degree from here? And how about those who have worked hard to extinguish their debt? Do they receive $50000? And are internationals included in this? (some self-interest here)

Cool, but then you need to fix the issue that caused it in the first place, i.e, abolish the Dept of Edu and stop government involvement in the industry. When you flood a market with money, prices will stay high. Plus, college teachers get paid wayyy too much.

The Republicans have held this up as well as the development of a high-speed railway system across America.

Does this mean I should take out a 50,000 dollar student loan right now, sounds like better odds than winning the lottery lol.
