That means 36 million people not only freed of the shackles of economic insecurity, but also free to participate creatively in the economy in a way that benefits everyone.
36 MILLION people would be completely debt free if we cancel $50,000 of student debt.

Imagine what it would be like if 36 million people stepped up to their responsibility and paid the debt they willingly took on. THAT would be empowering.

And those 36 million people will have a psychological effect ... a positive psychological effect ... on their neighborhood ... on this country ... and ... on this world.

Who pays the loans?

Economic insecurity can be an inspiration which shackles do not allow.

No, it would burden the remaining 300 million people. If the Democrats want to cancel $50,000 in student loan debt, the only fair and just option would be to also cancel $50,000 in lifetime federal tax for the rest. Now that's equity.

It’s not cancelling student debt. It’s transferring debt to people who didn’t want the loan in the first place.

More than that would be debt free if you cancel their car loan, mortgage and credit card debt...sorry...I don’t want to pay off someone else’s debt
