Just as the bubonic plague was followed by a Renaissance, Covid is going to be followed by a renaissance as well. A radically new appreciation for the possibilities of life is pushing up from the bottom of things like the tiniest blade of grass pushing up from beneath the ground.

Doubt it. Spanish Flu wasn't followed by a renaissance and it killed (both proportionately and in actual terms) far more people than Covid has so far.

You need to take a look at the WEF’s plans.

I actually agree. We will start a trend towards becoming a type 1 civilization. Remember my concept for world peace? A global renaissance across all disciplines? 😬😐

We just need to extract ourselves from the pharma-industrial complex, THEN we get our natural world Renaissance!

I sincerely hope you’re right, but I just can’t picture it happening right now. Capitalism and its cohorts fear, greed, racism, imperialism, nationalism, and climate destruction are probably going to wipe us all out before we can recover. I hope I’m just pessimistic.

15th century Europe did not have as expertly evil power structures like we have today. As long as people are trying to save capitalism from itself, there is no way we'll enter a new form of enlightenment. And there's never been impending environmental catastrophe as backdrop.
