Humanity is careening toward a variety of scenarios that spell global catastrophe, for no reason other than we’re holding ourselves hostage to an economic system that puts short-term corporate profits before the safety & well-being of people. This is not just unjust. It’s insane.

Actually, no. I’m fine with capitalism but it must be appropriately regulated, corporate taxes should be much higher, the extremely rich should be taxed more, and young people should be given the education and the economic opportunity to get into the game.
