The fact that much of what they do is important and life-saving has been used as a cover, blinding too many people to the level of corporate greed by which Big Pharma has tyrannized us for years.

WHY ARE DRUG PRICES SO HIGH? "I mean, how in the world can one explain that Congress actually passed a law saying that our government can’t negotiate drug prices?” #EndThePatents motherjones.com/politics/201…

The ridiculous situation we're in where we can't negotiate drug prices is outrageous ... and Biden is part of that ... you'll never hear him say anything about lowering drug prices.

I can't believe we are still unable to negotiate drug prices ... and ... the US Government should put pressure on the Drug Companies to allow countries like India to manufacture these vaccines themselves.

I have a "Vague Recollection" that the government was much more involved with and had much more control over Pharmaceutical Companies back in the 50's, 60's and 70's.

I feel I'm missing something. Didn't the US Government fund the R&D and manufacturing in the first place? We therefore collectively own the vaccine. We shouldn't have to ask pharmaceutical companies for permission. We just TELL them to share the IP rights.

If doctors let thousands die, they would be arrested, and shunned. Pharma needs a moralistic guide which seriously needs to come from its shareholders AND its government.
