There is no substitute for good parenting. But tens of millions of American parents don’t have the economic resources to provide all that. Every public school should be a palace of learning, culture & the arts - no matter what neighborhood; every child should have healthcare etc.

So good! 👃1. You STILL have to make sure you aren't indoctrinating. 2. They did this stuff w/ us in the eighties, the schools taught us one thing and (Often abusive) parents redid it at night. you can imagine how that often turned out. 3. A 10 yr old is no match for an adult

Education should not be indoctrination of any kind. It should be the actual teaching of historical, scientific fact etc. and the development of critical thought processes.
