If @VP is to get to root causes re immigration issue at the border, she must mention US foreign policy in Latin America. It's bogus to pretend it's not an issue & only the truth will set us free. Also, to learn about root causes go down there & hear from the people themselves?

Most of the reporting about @VP has been hardly above style section level. Not good for her & not good for us. If she's heading policy vis a vis Latin America it should be covered in depth. Time to pop the lid off on that one. The border crisis is the US reaping what we have sown

1. Great you think its an issue. Now talk to your party. 2. Yes, we had programs in engage with central America and Mexico under Obama and Trump. The most helpful was, to be blunt, pay countries to keep people at home. KH will no doubt end up doing that but claim its new.

denial goes deep. pathological/purposeful. in abusive family dynamics/ business/other, there's an option to leave if lies continue. but. . . we've NO option to leave despite the escapism lies we tell ourselves. only w the courage to tell and hear the truth does the path open.

ending the drug war will drastically help solve much of the border crisis. We must also look to relax the immigration and migrant worker programs. #LibertarianAmerica

God don't draw lines on the planet. Borders are imaginary. Treat people crossing them as you would want to be treated when traveling.

She can start by ending the failed war on drugs. Take the power away from the cartels.

Exactly! People just don't willingly leave their families behind. So time to find out the root causes, as you said, on why they do it. What kind of governments do they have, and who support bad governments, or who oppose good governments.

Berta Cáceres would likely agree and might mention the coup in Honduras in 2009.
